The last formal project I did while at my former office, NCA, was a competition submission for a private charter school here in Chicago. The competition centered around developing the interior of an existing warehouse building. The competition required that all five submitters confine their proposals to a single floor of the building along Chicago’s busy Ashland blvd. Our entry proposed the construction and installation of a multipurpose unit that would serve as both architecture and furniture, partition and equipment. Below are our entry boards in their entirety. Enjoy.
