Modular Tower Concept

An eVolo tower competition entry that proposed modular living units be placed inside steel framework. The concepts allows owners to buy their units as discrete and self-contained pieces of architecture, moveable to other frame tower locations anywhere in the world. The entry proposed units that were 16’x50′, sized as oversized trucking loads. Structural steel towers contain the building core (stairs & elevators), along with building mechanical systems like electricity and plumbing. The individual units contain their own electrical heat pump units.
