South Haven Residence

This residence located on a wooded site in South Haven Michigan was co-designed with another Chicago architect. The design goals were simple: develop a vacation home that could be easily constructed, fit well to it’s context, and was affordable. The final design utilized the slope of the site, south facing views, and local/easily sourced materials. The residence is wood frame construction with a poured-in-place concrete foundation.
